Dresden Airport is located on the north-western outskirts, but is still really easy to get to, with a motorway access route. Dresden’s main public transport is trams, because the geology of the area doesn’t allow for an underground! Outer areas of the wider Dresden area are connected by the Dresden Funicular Railway, and the roads around the city are also very good quality!
